Sunday Events & BBQ

Every Sunday during the patrolling season Whale Beach SLSC runs handicapped events which earn members points.

Every competitor is awarded points according to their finishing time and position. The season's points score is revealed and awarded at the annual Presentation Night.

Times of events

11:00am SURF SWIM (400-800m swim around 2 buoys or a Bay 2 Breakers swim)
11:30am Racing/Wave Ski, Racing/Rescue Board races & Relays
12:00pm Beach events (Flags & sprints)
12:30pm BBQ on the Deck

All members are welcome to come along to the first BBQ of the season this Sunday 11th October.

From 12:30pm we will be serving sausages, onions, steak and burgers, plus salad and drinks.

Any volunteers for the BBQ roster to assist on a Sunday would be appreciated. Please email names and any day you are not available. BBQs will cease 2 weeks prior to Christmas and resume on the 3rd weekend of January.
